Shots

Thomas had his first shots today. He did great and barely cried at all! There's nothing like a sister to love your hurts away...

Train

One of the things I having been just waiting to buy (& play with!) for my boy is a train! My mom & the Novak's gave him his first "Thomas the Train" at his shower, so I wait no more! The girls have brought it out several times already and have had lots of fun with it. Now, we just wait for Thomas to join us!!

Cooing

Thomas is really starting to coo and I feel like I've been waiting forever to hear him! There is absolutely nothing like the sounds of a babe cooing...I cried today listening to him talk away to me:)

hot dog roast!

This morning I asked Claire what she wanted for breakfast. She thought for awhile and then said, "I think I'll have a hot dog!" What?? For breakfast? She asked me if we had any and I said maybe, but I'd have to clean the freezer out to find one. I thought for sure she wouldn't want to wait, but she said, "OK!" So...I started cleaning the freezer and found some old turkey dogs from this summer. We decided she hadn't had a hot dog since our last campfire this summer. So today, Claire had her first ever hot dog roast over a candle for breakfast! Life is short..have a hotdog for breakfast! Why not?

Snow

On the news tonight, we learned that we've had snow 20 out of the last 23 days. Wow! It really feels like winter and is so pretty! Tom helped the girls build a snowcave this weekend. On Saturday, Ella will have a sledding birthday party. Fun!

Happy

Thomas is really smiling these days! His favorite place to be is on his changing table. The girls made a mobile out of hearts to hang above him and he loves it. The hearts are covered with glitter so I wonder about him "eating glitter" but they're too cute. Ella decided the hearts could stay up long past Valentines Day because they meant love. Yes, she LOVES her baby Thomas!

Monday

Ah, Monday. I love Mondays...well, usually. Monday=a day at home. This Monday, I decided to try something new...my first BLOG! Molly came over early before Young Life to help me set it up. Think I'll keep it updated? I'll try! Here goes...
