goodbye bunnies!

Hallelujah, the bunnies are gone! I posted the bunnies on Craigslist on Saturday and today they're gone. Had a ton of requests for them too! Ella, of course, decided that she really liked them and wanted to keep them for another week or so. She told me she liked them, just wished she didn't have to feed them. Ha! The girls were VERY much a part of the decision to get rid of them and really weren't sad a bit to say goodbye. Claire didn't even want her picture taken with them one last time!!!! Goodbye Amelia & Cordelia...we wish you well!

3 months

Thomas is already 3 months old! Hard to believe....

He's discovered his hands lately. He looks at one as it goes by his face as if to say, "What in the world is that thing?" Sometimes he chews on them and gags! He didn't nap much today...guess he's getting older so has more wake time. The rolls on him are plentiful as you can see. Nothing sweeter than a squishy baby...

Florida

We spent last week in Florida...What a treat to see green and smell grass in February! Tom & Thomas & I spent the first few days in Orlando at the IBS...International Builders Show. The girls enjoyed special times with Gr'ma Sheryl & Gramps Tom in Tampa. They also had tons of fun with Chad & Erika & Great Grandma Darlene. Thomas was a trooper through his first flight and all the adventures that traveling brings. Fun memories for all!

We saw manatees & alligators, went to a way-fun museum, & did a canopy walk high in the trees. The girls also collected shark teeth at a beach & went to the zoo.

Great Grandma celebrated her 86th birthday while in Florida! She took us all out to our favorite Florida restaurant...The Bonefish Grill. She didn't want to miss a minute of holding Thomas, so she even ate while holding him!!!!!!

Ella

Ella is officially 7! Her birthday was Wednesday. Caramel rolls are the birthday breakfast tradition...this year made by Gr'ma JoAnne when Thomas was born. (Hallelujah for grandmas and freezers!!:) We enjoyed them with milk out of the girls' new teacups from Austria (Thanks again to Gr'ma!)

We're reading the American girl chapter book,"Felicity Learns A Lesson" at bedtime so the girls had fun saying "Thank you, I shall take no more tea" with their tea cup upside down and spoon on top just like Felicity!

Here are a few "Ella-isms" from the week...
After brushing her teeth at bedtime and swishing with flouride rinse, she commented...."Why can you eat after brushing your teeth in the morning, but you can't at night?" Hmmmm...good question.

At the supper table, she asked Tom completely out of the blue, "Isn't $45 a good deal, Dad?!" "$45 for what?" Tom replied. "I don't know...a toy maybe?" We wonder when she'll ask for this $45 thing...nice set-up with Dad though, don't you think??!!
